Our prices are NOT low because we cut corners. Instead, they are low for two reasons.

The first reason is that we greatly desire to bring all willing musicians
into the baroque music revival. Previously, musicians have found that a more
authentic performance can be prohibitively expensive. This certainly hinders
interest in the subject. Also, attempting to perform early music with the
use of modern bows often results in an unfavorable sound that the author of
the music did not intend. We are certain that musicians and listeners will
appreciate and enjoy a huge difference in the sound that is created by using
a baroque-style bow. (Of course, we also strongly suggest the use of gut strings
and research in order to perfect their technique.) We believe that offering
our bows at a lower cost may entice all professionals to carry a baroque-style
bow for use in the performing of early music (Bach, Handel, Telemann, etc)
and that all respectable educational institutions will consider it a must for
their students to be provided with baroque bows for performances. The higher
quality performances will lead to a better appreciation of the music, and
hopefully, lead to a return to music of a better quality.

The second reason that our bows are affordable is that we have confidence
that musicians will be impressed and recommend our product to their colleagues.
Because we are confident, we can buy our materials in quantity such that our
savings can be passed onto the customer.
